The Cybernetic Hypothesis
The Critical Information Studies Group (CIS, formerly the Difference That Makes a Difference, DTMD, research group - we're in the processes of renaming/refocusing the group) recently had a discussion about The Cybernetic Hypothesis of Tiqqun. Rather than provide any background to it myself, I'll refer to a blog post by Joss Winn. (See also Joss's longer notes on it.)
