Studentships to study the nature of information

The department where I work at the Open University in Milton Keynes, UK, is offering two full-time PhD studentships.  The details are here: http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/ANR599/two-studentships-in-computing-and-communications/  [Now in place with the revised deadline!]

Note the deadline of 22nd April extended to 31st May

Applications are invited to work in any of the fields of interest of the department, and that includes the study of information.  See the list of topics of interest here: http://www9.open.ac.uk/mct-cc/study/research-degrees/student-projects,

but note especially:

and:

Both of these would be based in the DTMD Research Group.

If you might be interested in studying for a PhD in either of these areas, or you have an idea for a related topic, please get in touch with me (david.chapman[at]open.ac.uk) as soon as possible.

And please pass this on!

When I go to the linked page, it reports that the studentships are no longer available.

Sorry, yes, I see that the details have 'timed out' because the original deadline expired. They should reappear in the next day or so, when the Studentships are re-advertised. In the meantime, the posts should be similar to these these . and the other links about the topics are still live.
